Diary Entry- Adventure Camps

Dear Diary,

Day 1
Wow! Today for the first time I had to wake up at 4:30 in the morning. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep the last night but rite now in the morning I feel very sleepy. We reached school and all of us were ready for an adventures trip and we then sat in our buses. We weren't allowed to carry our mobile phones and but we were allowed to carry our I-pods. All the time together our whole class we were listening to music and it was fun. :P It was so much fun in the bus we were in the bus for like 7 hours and all of us were together having lots of fun. Finally, we reached our destination "CAMP CORBETT". we all came out of the bus jumping around and wondering about the place and we were highly excited and impatient to go inside the camp.
Then we decided the cottage and the members in it, I was with Kasvi, Soohyeon and Rhea. All four of us jumping around clicking pictures so damn excited. We unpacked our bags, got ready for our first activity. We went to the Village to find out about some answers to some questions we decided with our geography teacher Miss Aprajita. We asked them questions about the Jim Corbett National Park and we explored the Natural Beauty of that place. We also planted trees there so that we dont harm the beauty and but we plant more trees. After that we reached the camp again, we had break for 30 minutes in which we played Frisbee. It was fun playing Frisbee with our classmates. Then all the teachers called us out for treasure hunt. We divided our selves into group of three and followed our guide Miss Jennifer's instructions. Our whole grade 7B along with few 6th Graders were in the group named TIGERS. Our leader was Aaryan, we all followed him and started finding our clues. I found the first and second clue, it was so much fun. Though our group came last because we couldn't find the last clue :P which was so epic. Then we had Stargazing  it was fun away from the noises of Delhi looking at the starts in the Dark night in the middle of the forest. Then we went for dinner in the cafeteria. We were then told to sleep by 10 maximum but our group we slept around 12 chit chatting the whole time.

Village Students :D

Day 2
We were supposed to wake up at 3:30, we were very sleepy because we slept at 12 and got up so early. We had a plan to reach the Safari at around 6. We reached there and in 1 safari only 6 people were allowed and the groups were already decided by the teachers. In my group we had lots of fun me, Kasvi, Manav, Dhruv, Mehak and Chahana. We spotted 4 kinds of deer's and the park was full of monkeys and langurs. Somehow we couldn't spot tigers :'( but then we didn't loose our hopes and tried all the possible ways searching for the tiger. We had breakfast over there only. It was not that great because it was packed but we then somehow managed to eat it because we were so hungry. We then went back to some place where the 6th Graders had elephant ride and all of us the 7thies  in the mean time we went to see a river. The river was deep and we were playing by throwing pebbles in the river. We clicked many pictures there, it was a very beautiful place. Then we went back to the elephant ride place and all the 7B girls except Rhea we were in the elephant named RANI. It was fun we then went back to the camp rested for 2 hours and then got ready in shorts and again went to some other river. We had to walk a lot to go to that river but we were brave enough and managed to go to the river with full excitement. We all were playing in the river and got all wet. Then we reached the camp again change our clothes and we gathered in the meeting place. We all played 20 questions which was again fun but somehow our team 7B and 6B lost again. Then we had dinner and we were told to sleep. We all were tired so we slept early, it was a very tiring day!

Day 3

Today we had to wake up at 5:30, we got ready quickly and left for Nanital. We had to climb up the mountains so all of us slept.. The journey was for was 2 hours. As soon as we got off the bus it was so chilly cold out side that we couldn't even sit at one place and do something all of us were shivering. We got packed breakfast and it was nice, better than what we got yesterday. Then our first instruction for the day was the whole grade 6 will go for rocks scrambling, 7A had to wait near the place we had breakfast and 7B had to go for horse riding. So, our class went for Horse riding, I was scared and I thought it would be easy but we had to climb up the mountain that looked scary. But we somehow again managed to do it and after 5 minutes we were comfortable on the horse. It was a ride for 30 minutes. After 15 minutes we reached a place were we could actually see all the views, mountains, lakes everything. We then had a class photograph and it is very precious and memorable. Then we reached the breakfast area where 7A was waiting for us. Then grade 7A went for horse riding and we were sitting up on the rocks waiting for grade 6 to come back. The guide thought it would take 45 minutes for the activity but it actually took 2 hours. Then the teachers decided that grade 7 will only go half way and we all started shouting " das not fare" and then the rock scrambling guide told us there is no half way so no need to cry.  Then he divided us into groups of 5. We were rope 6. It was tiring but it was fun also. We were tired after the rock scrambling. We then had to walk for SO long to the Nanital famous market and we got so tired! Honestly there was nothing much in the market but it was FUN. Then again we were supposed to walk back. We climbed back up half a way we go so tired that the teachers called the bus. We sat in the bus after a tiring day and we didn't even have our lunch some of us were feeling dizzy but then Miss Divya made us eat some fruits and biscuits and it really worked. We felt better and reached the camp. Because of all this some people had attacks, we got so panic and scared for our friends. But the doctor and the teachers were there so not a problem. Then we had breakfast and we went into our rooms, on our beds and just slept away.

 Horse Riding!

 Rocks Scrambling :D

Day 4

Today we had to wake up at 7:30, finally normal time! and there was nothing much to do. We woke up, got ready, packed our suitcases and went out to the meeting area. Miss Jennifer spoke about the birds and animals. It was amazing to hear about the birds. We were ready to go back but we already started missing the place. We sat in the bus on the last seat and enjoyed. We played a song game in the bus, and were listening to music. We reached back school so tired and we missed our parents. We reached back home and started uploading pictures. :P

Dreams

We all dream at night, and nobody can say they dont- EVERYBODY DOES! :P
Yeh, all of us dream but we often forget what we dream, its quite normal to forget your dreams because even I forget my dreams. Well, this is because we can only capture some parts of our dreams in our mind- NOT ALL.. Often I try to recall  my dreams but unfortunately I cant which is because we dream in the unconscious mind where we cant recall about our dreams. Some people's dreams are long while others are short, Some are cute and simple while others are dangerous and fighting.

Once I had a dream I cant really explain my whole dream as I "forgot my dream" but yeh still I remember some what of my dream. So, once in my dream I was the queen of this town and then I ruled over my friends and teachers, I banned all the schools and life was cute and simple. Hmm.. and kids usually loved week-days because on weekdays all the parents took their kids to adventure parks and out station trips..

Though I know this is a stupid dream but that's exactly what people dream.. RANDOMLY. :D

Letter Writing

Q: Imagine that you are Lila. Your aunt knows that your mother is ill and is anxious to know how she is. Write a letter to your and tell her all about the visit of the medicine man.

Dear Aunt,
Mom is very weak these days, and she is not eating anything. I'm very worried for mom I hope everything is alright with mom. Yesterday I saw a Medicine man near the road and I went to him asking for medicines for mom. But, when I went to the medicine man then he kept ignoring of what I was talking but then finally he woke up and then he was like go and get some wood and then he placed up a fire. Then he picked up the ashes and crumbled them and went to see their mother. He put the ashes in her mouth and told her to rest. And then instead he asked for something in return because he gave the medicine. Then I went and got the ring mom loved a lot but I didn't have any other choice. I dont think it will work but I have to listen to him because there is no such hospital or doctor in the village. Aunt, I hope she gets better and now she is talking better than before so I think you can come and meet her as well.

Regards
Lila.

The new trains which are proposed to be introduced include express trains, passenger trains, local trains and special trains.

I think instead of wasting money we can use all these money to educate poor people and to donate money to create other people's life more comfortable and safe.
